FAI Spring Days return

Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 March 2024 sees the renewal of the appointment with the FAI Spring Days, the most important square event dedicated to Italy's cultural heritage and landscape.

The FAI Spring Days, now in their 32nd edition, offer the opportunity to discover art and nature treasures that are usually inaccessible or little-known, by taking part in the free-contribution visits proposed by the Foundation's volunteers.

Below is the official organisation of the FAI Spring Days in Calabria:

• visit to the village of Santa Caterina dello Ionio (CZ) following the "Ecocentrismo tra palmenti, catoji e asinelli" nature walk
• visit to the Tower of Sant'Antonio in Santa Caterina dello Ionio (CZ)
• visit to the Botanical Garden of the University of Calabria in Arcavacata (Rende, CS)
• visit to the exhibition on the history of UNICAL (University of Calabria) in Arcavacata (Rende, CS)
• visit to the Giants of Sila in Spezzano della Sila (CS)
• visit to Villa Margherita and its park in Cutro (KR)
• visit to the three most interesting districts of Nicotera (VV): the Baglio, Giudecca and Palmentieri
• visit to the village of Mammola (RC) to discover "Sanctity and art, architecture and gastronomy"
• visit to Villa San Giovanni (RC) to discover the silk industry and art
• visit to the Museum of Uses and Customs of the peasant civilisation of the Poro in Nicotera (VV).
