What are "FAI Days"? A not-to-be-missed opportunity to visit places of art, culture and nature that are usually closed to the public, or unusual, little-known and valued places.
An initiative that the FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano) has been developing for years in two annual appointments: the Spring "FAI Days" and the Autumn "FAI Days".
How are the "FAI Autumn Days" organised and when do they take place?
Animated and promoted by the "FAI Giovani" groups and the volunteers of the foundation's territorial network, the "FAI Days" provide for a series of extraordinary openings and guided tours to discover an exceptional variety of historical, artistic and naturalistic treasures.
The 2024 edition of the "FAI Autumn Days" will be held on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October: from north to south of the peninsula, 700 extraordinary places in 360 cities will be open to the public. The "FAI Autumn Days" are organised as part of the Foundation's "October FAI" fundraising campaign, which runs throughout the month.
