Small Museum of Sacred Art

The Small Museum is located inside the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, in rooms made in sixteenth-century chapel adjacent to the sacristy. It houses many works of sacred art, including some important relics, bust sculpted in the round, finely decorated in gold leaf damascened dating back to the sixteenth century, precious silver objects and vestments of eighteenth century, as well as a lovely marble tabernacle carved in low relief and dated 1545.
