Crotone Summer 2024

A packed programme with over fifty events spread across squares, neighbourhoods and the seafront: Crotone Summer 2025 is one of the highlights of the Calabrian summer, with a line-up ranging from music, theatre, cinema, talk shows, food and sport.

Among the most eagerly awaited events is the Crotone Summer Fest, with free concerts by artists loved by the general public: Gaia, Fabio Rovazzi, Alex Britti, Nina Zilli, Camil Way and The Kolors. A true pop festival under the stars, in the heart of Piazzale Ultras.

There is also great anticipation for the third edition of the Kroton Jazz Festival, which will bring international jazz stars to Crotone, between the municipal villa and the city's seafront, in an evocative atmosphere enriched by the presence of the International Street Food Festival.

The talk show L'Imboscata is a must-see, set in the splendid surroundings of the Orto Tellini, with guests such as Mario Giordano, Giuseppe Cruciani and Luca Sommi, for a discussion on journalism, politics and current affairs.

There will also be many events in the neighbourhoods, with the popular music of Cecè Barretta in Papanice, puppet shows by Angelo Gallo, and theatre meets music thanks to the festival organised by the Kroma association. The classics are also expected, with Plautus and Medea, as well as Giovanni Baglioni and tributes to Rino Gaetano, Ennio Morricone and Franco Battiato.

There is no shortage of events for film enthusiasts, with “And I'm in – Cinema under the stars” and the “Calabria Movie Short Film Festival”, while the “Connessioni Festival”, organised by the Compagnia dello Ionio, will offer cultural and musical events throughout July.

Finally, there will be space for sport with spectacular events such as the world kickboxing match, the “Strasalute” running race and Crotone Boxing Night.
