Kroton Jazz Festival

From 8 to 11 August 2024, the Kroton Jazz Festival will be held at the Villa Comunale. The festival preview will be held on 7 August with a concert by Tosca, one of the finest interpreters of Italian music.

8 August: The festival opens with a concert by Walter Ricci's Trio, a popular crooner from Campania, with the ‘Naples Jazz’ project. Next, the great saxophonist Stefano Di Battista will present a project dedicated to the music of Ennio Morricone.

9 August: Concert by Eleonora Strino, rising star of female jazz guitar. This will be followed by the festival's first international event: the concert by Jany Mc Pherson, a talented Franco-Cuban pianist and vocalist.

10 August: Two high-level appointments: Barbara Casini's quartet with three formidable international musicians and Peppe Servillo's trio with Javier Girotto and Natalio Mangalavite with the ‘L'anno che verrà’ project dedicated to Lucio Dalla.

11 August: For the last evening of the festival, the duo of Antonello Salis and Simone Zanchini with the project ‘Liberi’, followed by the renowned drummer Roberto Gatto with the project ‘Lifetime’ dedicated to the music of Tony Williams.
