Wonders from the Archives - The Amphitheatre: Unpublished Finds and Hidden Stories

On Sunday 19 October 2025, at 10:00 a.m., the Scolacium National Archaeological Park in Borgia will inaugurate a series of events entitled 'Wonders from the Deposits', which will open the museum's hidden treasures to the public.

The first event, 'The Amphitheatre: Unpublished Finds and Hidden Stories', will offer the opportunity to discover objects never before exhibited to the public and to learn new details about daily life, performances, and activities that animated the ancient Roman amphitheatre of Scolacium. The initiative, designed for adults and children, takes visitors on a journey of discovery through archaeology and storytelling, giving voice and memory back to fragments of history that have remained hidden for centuries. Participation is included in the cost of the park entrance ticket.
