The awakening of nature: Spring trekking

With the arrival of summer, the Sila plateau dresses itself in colours and scents that enchant the senses. The Spring Trekking, to be held on 22 June 2025, is the perfect opportunity to experience this natural spectacle up close, walking along paths immersed in greenery and accompanied by the intense scent of broom, St. John's Wort, dog roses and many other blooms typical of the Sila environment.

An excursion led by Tommaso Talerico, an AIGAE and Sila National Park guide, naturalist photographer and profound connoisseur of the area. The 6 km-long trail will lead participants to discover the Giants of the Sila Reserve, a symbolic place of Calabrian biodiversity, with scientific insights and stories linked to ethnobotany and local culture.
