The ArchaeoTrekking Train - Discovering Brancaleone

On Saturday 15 March 2025, on the occasion of the National Landscape Day, Railtour - Travel by Train and Discover Calabria proposes a new itinerary with The ArchaeoTrekking Train, an immersive experience among history, culture and nature.

The event includes a visit to the Brancaleone Vetus Urban Archaeological Park, guided by Carmine Verduci, President of the Pro Loco, to discover the secrets of this ancient village. In the afternoon, space will be given to literature with the Pavese Route, which will culminate with a visit to Cesare Pavese's House of Confinement and a tasting of PGI Bergamot of Reggio Calabria and local citrus fruits.
