Sila 3 Peaks

Sila 3 Peaks Winter Challenge is the international mountain challenge in the Sila National Park involving several sports disciplines, attracting fans from all over the world. It is a unique competition of its kind: inspired by the Iditarod, the typical Alaskan sled dog races, Sila 3 Peaks combines dog-adventure with cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fat-biking. A multi-discipline endurance raid that takes place on the natural and unspoilt ‘’terrain‘’ of Sila.

Sila 3 Peaks 2025 is scheduled from 18 to 25 February with five different types of races, for all tastes and sporting abilities:

• ‘’Air‘’ (18 February, 9 a.m.): among the proposed routes, this is the most extreme, in 260 km it crosses the entire territory of the Sila National Park, between the provinces of Cosenza and Catanzaro.
• ‘’Ultra‘’ (21 February, 6 p.m.): alternatively, 100 km with medium-high difficulty.
• ‘’Challenge‘’ (21 February, 18:00): the medium-difficulty route.
• ‘’Adventure‘’ (21 February, 18:00): an atmospheric 21-km night race.
• ‘’Conquer the summit‘’ (22 February, 10:00 a.m.): an exciting challenge for those who want to get to the top.

Not only competitiveness, Sila 3 Peaks is an event for everyone! An immersive experience that balances soul, body and nature, learning to manage one's psychophysical limits and experience adventure in the mountains.
