Giro d'Italia 2026

The Giro d'Italia in Calabria is the 2026 event not to be missed for cycling enthusiasts and others! Four years after its last visit, the Giro d'Italia 2026 returns to Calabria, passing through three important locations on the stages of 12 and 13 May. After the grand departure of the Giro d'Italia 2026 on the roads of Bulgaria, the Pink Caravan moves to Calabria (arriving at Lamezia Terme International Airport) for the 4th and 5th stages. While in 2022 the cycling race stopped in Palmi-Scalea, departing from Diamante, this year's stages of the Giro d'Italia in Calabria are structured as follows:

it begins on Tuesday 12 May with an all-Calabrian stage, starting from the city of Catanzaro, the regional capital, and arriving in the centre of Cosenza with a probable final sprint, despite a long climb halfway through the route; it continues the following day, Wednesday 13 May, with a short transfer allowing the start from Praia a Mare (CS) and the finish in Potenza, crossing the wonders of the Riviera dei Cedri and the Pollino National Park.

An event within the event? The city of Cosenza returns as the finish line for the Giro d'Italia 2026 after 37 years! Another opportunity to celebrate the Giro d'Italia in Calabria together and visit the beautiful locations involved, rich in artistic, cultural and natural treasures.
