Screening of the film ‘’A Bag of Marbles‘’

On Monday 27 January 2025, on the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Municipal Library ‘’Torre Nocito‘’ of Santa Maria del Cedro offers a special event to remember the victims of the Shoah and reflect on the importance of historical memory.

At 3.30 p.m., the film ‘’A Bag of Marbles‘’ will be screened, a touching story about the courage and hardships experienced during the Holocaust period. The initiative, designed especially for children and young people, aims to stimulate collective reflection on topics such as war, racism and the consequences of hatred. The day will open with a video-message by rav Menachem Lazar, who will offer a valuable contribution to explore the theme of the Shoah.
