Paper in celebration: from the Archives to the Zines

On 13 October 2024, the State Archives of Cosenza will be the protagonist of an important cultural initiative with the inauguration of the documentary and fanzine exhibition entitled ‘’Paper in celebration: from the Archives to the Zines‘’. The event, in collaboration with Zinèe, a group of freelancers passionate about the contamination of the arts and the sharing of creative processes, will be free and open to all.

The exhibition is an unmissable opportunity to rediscover the State's archival heritage, juxtaposing ancient documents with contemporary fanzines, i.e. independent publications created by people who are passionate about specific topics such as music, literature and fandom. These works, conceived with passion, show how creativity can give rise to new and spontaneous forms of expression, far from the traditional circuits of publication.

The exhibition will be open until 21 November 2024 with the following opening times:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 - 13:00

Monday and Wednesday: 15:00 - 16:30
