National Gallery

The National Gallery of Cosenza is located in the prestigious Arnone Palace, home of the Superintendence for the Historical, Anthropological Heritage of Calabria. The Gallery exhibits the collection of paintings that, since the 80s, were acquired by the State and documenting the most significant moments of Italian art, particularly in the south, from the sixteenth to the twentieth century. Among the works on display, especially important ones of Pietro Negroni, Mattia Preti and Umberto Boccioni, as well as the many artists of the Neapolitan school.
