On Sunday 5 October 2025, the Italian Touring Club invites everyone to participate in the Orange Treasure Hunt, the largest contemporary treasure hunt in Italy, involving one hundred Orange Flag villages. A unique experience for adults and children alike, discovering the traditions, flavours and history of Italy's regions.
In Calabria, there will be two participating villages: Gerace (RC), where participants can take part in a special hunt dressed in traditional local clothing, and Taverna (CZ), with classic routes through the village's main attractions.
Taking part is easy: just register your team on the website. Upon registration, each participant will receive a free digital copy of the "Village Recipe Book", featuring typical recipes from Orange Flag villages, bringing true Italian excellence to your table.
