From the Giants of Sila to ''cheesemaker for a day''

It is a unique experience that the Fiorella Cibi Rurali company offers just a few steps away from the Sila Giants. After a guided tour of the centuries-old forest, with its unspoilt nature and the stories it tells, you can enter the world of artisanal cheese production and try your hand at milking sheep like a cheesemaker.

This is an opportunity to discover ancient farming traditions, to come into contact with nature, with the people who live in this area and with their passions. Giulio, a young family cheesemaker, will accompany participants at the milking, revealing the characteristics of the sheep, the stages of cheese making and the secrets of a production that respects the environment and people.

It is an experience suitable for young and old, to experience the mountains in an authentic way. At the end, a tasting of typical cheeses made on the farm will be an opportunity to savour the genuine flavours of this area.
