Calabria on Foot is back, the event dedicated to slow and conscious discovery of the region, which from 16 November 2025 to 22 March 2026 will take hikers and enthusiasts on a ten-stage journey through nature, culture and extraordinary landscapes.
Conceived and coordinated by environmental hiking guide Angelo Gigliotti, the initiative brings together AIGAE and LAGAP guides from across the region to showcase Calabria's trails through immersive experiences in national parks, nature reserves and villages steeped in history.
From the ruins of Africo Antico in the Aspromonte National Park to the peaks of Pollino, passing through Sila, Serre and Calanchi del Marchesato, each excursion is an invitation to discover the biodiversity, geodiversity and traditions that make the region unique. A slow-paced itinerary that intertwines landscape, memory and human encounters, giving voice to Calabria's trails and mountains.
