Fatti di Musica 2025, the prestigious Festival-Prize of Live d'Autore conceived and directed by Ruggero Pegna, which this year celebrates its 39th edition, is back to illuminate the Calabrian summer. An appointment that, for almost forty years, has brought great live music to Calabria, awarding the best shows of the year with the famous Riccio d'Argento, a work by master goldsmith Gerardo Sacco.
The start of the summer section is set for Sunday 8 June in Gimigliano (CZ), in Piazza Aldo Moro, where Eugenio Finardi will inaugurate the tour with a highly anticipated free concert, as part of the celebrations for the Madonna SS. di Porto. From then on, the festival will criss-cross the region with a line-up of big names in Italian and international music, for a rich and varied calendar.
Among the appointments not to be missed:
- 23 June: Dolcenera live in Rosarno (RC), in Piazza Duomo, for the ‘San Giovanni Feast (free admission)
- 11 July: Irene Grandi in concert in Cerisano (CS) for the ‘’Serre Festival‘’ (free admission)
- 18 and 19 July: double live performance by Stefano Bollani Quintet, first at the University of Calabria in Rende, then in Piazza del Popolo in Reggio Calabria
- 21 and 22 July: Stefano De Martino's ‘’Better Tonight‘’ show in Reggio Calabria and Lamezia Terme
- 9 August: great evening with the Paolo Belli Big Band in Bovalino (RC), free admission
- 10 August: Afterhours in concert in Reggio Calabria, the only date in Calabria for the 20th anniversary of ‘’Ballads for Little Hyenas‘’.
- 12 August: Fedez's dj set in Cittanova (RC) for the 24th Stockfish Festival (free entrance)
- 13 August: Ron in concert in Mesoraca (KR) (free admission)
- 27 August: Enrico Brignano live in Lamezia Terme with ‘’Bello di mamma‘’ (free entrance)
- 6 September: Nino Frassica & Los Plaggers Band in San Pietro Magisano (CZ) for the ‘’Luce a San Pietro‘’ festival
Moreover, from 10 to 16 September, the festival will be the protagonist of the Reggio Live Fest on the Lungomare Falcomatà in Reggio Calabria, with a special programme and new events in collaboration with the National Archaeological Museum, to be announced in the coming days.
