Serre Festival

Now in its 30th edition, the Serre Festival in Cerisano offers its loyal audience more than 40 free shows and important artists.

During the six days of programming, from 3 to 8 September, the historic centre of Cerisano, in the province of Cosenza, comes alive with a rich programme of music, theatre and cinema performances.

This year's main novelty is jazz, with Fabrizio Bosso and Elio Coppola trio; then Luigi Viva and Luigi Masciari with "Viva De André", a tribute to one of the best-loved singer-songwriters of Italian music through songs, words and images; GeGè Telesforo and Big Mama; Greta Panettieri, a great virtuoso, tries her hand at Frank Sinatra; and to close, James Senese. 

Not only music! The Serre Festival in Cerisano has accustomed its audience to talks on topics of great interest, such as Claudio Signorile and Simona Colarizi's book on the Moro case and the charity auction with Hasta Cuanto Podemos and Fondazione Lilli Funaro.

The film and theatre section of the Cerisano Serre Festival presents the latest hits of the big screen, youth theatre and shows involving the likes of Guzzanti, Mazzotta and Vergassola.

In short, as every year, the Serre Festival in Cerisano confirms itself as a "festival for everyone".
