Stefani Bollani Quintet

On 18 July 2025 at 9.30 p.m., the Open Air Theatre in Piazza Vermicelli of the University of Calabria will host an extraordinary concert starring Stefano Bollani, accompanied by an exceptional quintet. The event, desired by Rector Nicola Leone as part of Unical's Great Events, is organised in collaboration with Ruggero Pegna's Show Net for Fatti di Musica Festival-Premio del Live d'Autore, now in its 39th edition.

Stefano Bollani, one of Italy's best-loved and internationally appreciated musicians, will perform with an unprecedented line-up that combines some of the most prestigious talents of the world music scene. On stage with him will be Jeff Ballard on drums, Larry Grenadier on bass, Vincent Peirani on accordion and Mauro Refosco on percussion, internationally renowned artists who have collaborated with icons of jazz and contemporary music.

During the evening, Bollani will receive the Riccio d'Argento for ‘Best Live of the Year’, the prestigious award created by Crotone goldsmith Gerardo Sacco.
