Cave of the Nymphs

The Cave of the Nymphs is located in the thermal complex in Cerchiara, where there are swimming pools suitable for children and adults. In the picturesque Cave, whose limestone walls open to the sky, there is a pool of warm water already known to the ancient Sibariti. The presence of sulfur waters that exceed 30 degrees centigrade and the famous mud to be massaged on the skin, make it unique experience in the Cave. According to ancient legend, the Cave of the Nymphs Lusiads was the secret lair that guarded the thalamus of Calypso, Atlas's daughter, goddess of the sea.
