From 2 to 4 October 2025, the Costa degli Dei will be the setting for the tenth edition of the Aqua Film Festival, conceived and directed by Eleonora Vallone, which this year arrives in beautiful Tropea with a fascinating theme: "AQUA & MYTH".
Three days dedicated to the story of water and myth through cinema, art, environment, history, traditions and sport. A festival that is not just an exhibition, but a real opportunity to discover and enhance the most beloved places in Calabria with short videos made with your own smartphone.
Students will also play a leading role, with the special category 'AQUA & STUDENTS': the Galluppi Higher Education Institute and the Tropea Hotel Institute will participate, together with other schools in Calabria and Sicily, ready to present their films. Among the short films scheduled is "Tropea, Bride of the Sea", made with the advice of historian and archaeologist Dario Godano.
The festival will host screenings of published and unpublished films, offering a unique experience of culture and creativity in the setting of the Santa Chiara Auditorium in Tropea, every day from 4 pm to 8 pm.
