On 22 and 23 August 2025, Amantea will once again become the Calabrian capital of pop culture with the eighth edition of Amantea Comics, the independent festival dedicated to comics and the nerd world.
An event born from the memory of Stefania Mari, the inspiring soul behind the project, which continues to grow as a symbol of sharing and passion. This year's title, "Always", is a tribute to continuity and the eternal bond with Stefania, combined with the fantasy imagery she loved so much: the number eight transforming into infinity tells of a love that never ends.
Among the new features for 2025 is the arrival in Calabria of Coreapoli, one of the main Italian projects dedicated to Korean pop culture, with performances, fashion, lifestyle and their eagerly awaited random dance. There will also be panels with industry experts, spaces dedicated to gaming and interactive activities in collaboration with local organisations.
The evocative exhibition The Little Prince will also return, on display throughout August at the Municipal Library of Amantea, with over 60 editions from Stefania Mari's private collection.
