For the second consecutive year, Vinitaly and the City, the festival dedicated to wine excellence, will be held in the splendid setting of the National Archaeological Park of Sibari, in the municipality of Cassano all'Ionio (CS).
Vinitaly and the City is the only ‘off-show’ in Italy linked to the national kermesse. After Calabria's success at Vinitaly 2025, a perfect showcase for the 91 regional companies involved, including wineries and producers of bitters, Vinitaly and the City in Sibari is ready to repeat the success with a unique appointment of its kind: an opportunity for tourism promotion, with particular attention to the territory of the Sibaritide and its valuable accommodation facilities.
Vinitaly and the City returns to where it all began, highlighting the thousand-year history of wine in Calabria and the first evidence of wine-making, between archaeology and ancient production techniques. An unmissable event for lovers of good wine and more, capable of combining the identity of the territory with flavours and culture.
