From 13 to 15 June 2025, nature takes centre stage with Vergari Day, the event that every year celebrates the birth of the Vergari Regional Nature Reserve, in the green heart of Mesoraca, in the province of Crotone.
An entire community comes together to celebrate a natural heritage of extraordinary beauty with an edition dedicated to environmental sustainability and cultural resistance. Three days of activities designed to involve adults and children, hikers, nature enthusiasts, scholars and families, with a rich programme that weaves together discovery, knowledge and sharing.
Among the proposals on the calendar:
- Guided excursions and treks inside the reserve, to explore the paths and landscapes of the park;
- Scientific and informative meetings with experts, scholars and protagonists of the environmental world;
- Educational workshops for children and families, to bring children closer to biodiversity issues;
- Live music and cultural performances, to experience the reserve also through art;
- Tastings and exhibition spaces dedicated to typical products and local crafts.
