Umberto Galimberti - The Self and the We

Umberto Galimberti, internationally renowned philosopher and psychoanalyst, returns to Lamezia Terme with The Self and the We, an event dedicated to reflecting on the meaning of love and human relationships.

Galimberti explores how love is often experienced in a possessive and superficial way, emphasising the importance of recognising the other in their diversity. Through an analysis of freedom, narcissism and the primacy of the individual, the philosopher invites the audience to consider love as a work of art: a journey of mutual discovery, curiosity and continuous transformation.
