Trekking in Aiello Calabro

From Località Casellone, along a dirt road, in the middle of age-old fir trees, you go up through the greenhouses and to Bocca lacone, from where you can observe Monte S. Lucerna, Monte Cocuzzo, the Savuto Valley and the Tyrrhenian Sea. The walk continues to the Remitorio (below S. Lucerna) and the hilly lake of Tenise. We will then go back to reach Casellone again, where a packed lunch can be eaten in the picnic area. During the excursion, the geologist Nino Osso, president of Sigea Calabria, will delve into the geology of the area and will represent recent studies on the legend of the treasure hidden by a phantom queen in the bowels of Monte S.
