The Path of St Francis of Paola - The Hermit's Way

The Path of St Francis of Paola, along "The Hermit's Way". A fascinating journey through nature and history in the footsteps of the Calabrian hermit, crossing the places that framed his life.

Starting from the Shrine of Paterno, where Francis spent part of his life, we will reach the Shrine of Paola in three stages.

1. First stage: Shrine of Paterno Calabro - Cerisano
2. Second stage: Cerisano - San Fili
3. Third stage: San Fili - Shrine of San Francesco di Paola

Difficulty: the itinerary has three stages, each about 20 km long, and quite demanding climbs with considerable differences in height to overcome; although it does not present any particular technical difficulties, training, walking habits and a good spirit of adaptation are required.
