The Banquet of Marquis Ruffo

On Saturday 27 September 2025, the Castle of Charles V in Crotone will open its doors for the third edition of Living History – The Banquet of Marquis Ruffo, an event that takes visitors back in time to medieval atmospheres and historical evocations.

For an entire day, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in medieval life:

• Workshops on ancient crafts to discover the knowledge and techniques of the past
• Guided tours in historical costumes through the majestic halls of the Castle
• Banquets laid out as in the days of Marquis Ruffo
• Medieval music, shows and dances that will enliven courtyards and halls
• Chivalric duels and games for adults and children

All activities and shows are free of charge. To sit at the banquet, you can exchange your coins on site and enjoy the authentic experience of a medieval noble lunch.
