Experience history

The city of Crotone invites you to take a dip in the past with the second edition of "Living History", which will be held on Sunday 17 November 2024 at Largo Lavatoio. This fascinating event celebrates the triumphal entry of King Alfonso the Magnanimous, offering a day full of activities that will bring you back to medieval times.

Programme of the day:

From 9:00 to 11:00: Immerse yourself in the ancient Kroton with the virtual reality experience at the Virtual Agora.
At 11:00: Enjoy the medieval camp with games, dances and jokes.
13:00: Enjoy local specialties in the food and wine area, open until evening.
At 17:00: Take part in the historical procession that will start from Piazza Duomo, recreating the atmosphere of the time.
At 18:00: Let yourself be enchanted by the show "Orientis Tempus" with facelift and fire, curated by the Artaere Company.
At 18:30: End the day with the show "Cerna Potentia" of the cultural association Trischine.
