Sila Bike Summer Fest

On 6 and 7 September 2025, the Sila National Park will host the Sila Bike Summer Fest, two days dedicated to sport, nature and adventure in the splendid setting of the ARSAC Experimental Demonstration Centre in Molarotta, Camigliatello Silano.

A programme packed with activities for all ages: MTB and E-Bike excursions along sections of the Calabria Parks Cycle Route, trekking through the woods of the FAI Reserve of the Giants of Sila, trail running with athletes and federal technicians, sports demonstrations of Nordic walking, archery and volleyball. For younger children, there will be a 'Kids on bikes in the woods' activity, a course designed to introduce them to the world of mountain biking in complete safety.

There will also be experiences related to the local area, with educational visits to the Molarotta farm, convivial breakfasts and a lunch based on typical Sila products offered by GAL Sila.

Saturday 6 September:

• 10:00 a.m. – Children's cycling in the woods
• 2:30 p.m. – MTB/E-Bike excursion (easy level) to the FAI Reserve of the Giants of Sila (15 km)
• 2:30 pm – Educational excursion to the Molarotta farm (5 km)

Sunday, 7 September:

• 8:30 am – Convivial breakfast
• 9:00 am – Walking excursion to the FAI Reserve of the Giants of Sila (10 km)
• 9:00 a.m. – MTB/E-Bike excursion (30-35 km)
• 9:00 a.m. – Trail running along the park's trails
• 1:00 p.m. – Lunch with tasting of typical products
