SalvArti. From confiscations to public collections

An extraordinary journey through art, legality and social redemption: ‘’SalvArti. From confiscations to public collections" arrives in Reggio Calabria after the success of the stages in Rome and Milan, which welcomed over 20,000 visitors.

Over 80 works by great masters of 20th century art, including Giorgio de Chirico, Mario Sironi, Lucio Fontana, Salvador Dalí, Andy Warhol, Mario Schifano and Christo, are finally returning to the community after being confiscated from organised crime. An exhibition that tells how artistic heritage, removed from illegality, can become a collective good, testifying to the value of culture as an instrument of justice and memory.
