On Sunday 15 September 2024, starting at 17:30, the first Roots Tourism Festival will be held in Cleto. The event will include a debate on the topic, followed by food and wine and a concert by the ‘Sabatùm Quartet’ group.
Cleto, the leading municipality of the first Italian project dedicated to root tourism, welcomes Italian descendants eager to rediscover their origins. The day will be dedicated to reflection and discussion to promote tourism of the roots, with the aim of raising the awareness of institutions and enhancing the value of villages in the process of depopulation. Before the concert, there will be a culinary exchange between typical local products and those of the nationalities of the guests present.
