Lamezia Terme becomes the capital of amateur theatre by hosting the final of the 2025 Riace Bronzes Award, the regional stage of the prestigious Amateur Theatre Grand Prix. An event that celebrates the passion and talent of Calabrian theatre companies, reconfirming the vitality of the region's theatre scene.
After a preliminary phase that saw the participation of almost fifteen companies, the jury selected the three finalists who will compete for the prize on the stage of the Grandinetti Theatre:
- 21 September, 9 p.m. – Compagnia Teatro Dietro le Quinte from Reggio Calabria with 'Caos a Broadway'
- 5 October, 6 p.m. – Il Volo delle Comete theatre company from Amantea with 'Parenti Serpenti'
- 8 November, 9 p.m. – Helps Association from Cosenza with 'La terra della pazzia'
The performances will be judged by an exceptional jury composed of Annalisa Spinelli, Patrizia Anania, Saverio Tavano, Paolo Giura and Giovanna Villella. The closing ceremony with the announcement of the winners in all categories will be held on 29 November 2025, again at the Grandinetti Theatre.
