Renatissimo - Tribute to Renato Carosone

On Friday, January 23, 2026, the Politeama Mario Foglietti Theater in Catanzaro will host “Renatissimo”, a tribute show dedicated to Renato Carosone, one of the greatest authors and performers of Neapolitan and Italian music of the late 20th century. This event celebrates the artistic legacy of a maestro who was able to capture the hearts of international audiences, taking the Neapolitan tradition beyond national borders.

“Renatissimo” stars Enzo Decaro and Ànema, who together create a heartfelt and engaging tribute through a musical journey that retraces the great successes of Carosone's repertoire. Ànema offers an original instrumental version of the most famous songs, including “Torero”, “Caravan Petrol”, “Tu vuò fà l'americano”, “Maruzzella”, “Piccolissima serenata”, “Io mammeta e tu”, “Luna Rossa”, and other timeless classics, with a lineup of excellent musicians.

Enzo Decaro, in his dual role as narrator and singer, weaves the extraordinary story of Carosone's artistic and private life through irresistibly comical anecdotes and incredible and surreal biographical events.
