Sport
Amidst the spectacular hairpin bends of the SP 241 ‘’Dirupata‘’, immersed in the heart of the Pollino National Park, one of the most eagerly awaited events for motor enthusiasts is back: the Pollino Slalom, now in its second edition.
Organised by the ASA ASD Castrovillari, chaired by Dr. Massimo Minasi, with the patronage of the Morano Calabro municipal administration and the support of national and local bodies, the event is scheduled for Saturday 31 May and Sunday 1 June 2025.
The race, valid for the Italian Zone Cup and the Challenge Slalom Calabria 2025, will see numerous drivers compete in a technical and exciting course that combines speed and skill, offering spectators an adrenaline-filled spectacle. The presence of Fabio Emanuele, ACI Sport supervisor and former Italian slalom champion, confirms the high level of the competition.
But the Slalom del Pollino is not only sport: it is also an opportunity to discover one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Morano Calabro, and experience a weekend of nature, culture and passion. An event that combines the power of sport with the value of territorial promotion, thanks to a synergic network of institutions and associations, including ACI Sport, the Region of Calabria, the Province of Cosenza, the Pollino National Park and ASD (S)parco Chiuso.
