Guardians of Pollino Award

On Monday 22 December 2025, at 4:30 p.m., at Catasta in Morano Calabro, the award ceremony for the "Guardians of Pollino" Prize will be held. This award is dedicated to those who, with dedication and passion, work every day to protect the territory, prevent forest fires, ensure safety in the mountains and safeguard the environmental and civic values of the Pollino National Park.

The award aims to express gratitude to the women, men, associations and organisations who, often silently, protect this extraordinary natural heritage, promoting collaboration, responsibility and love for the mountains. The winners, selected by a committee according to criteria of operational commitment, impact on the territory, networking skills, innovation and civic values, will receive awards in various categories, with possible special mentions.
