Now in its eighteenth edition, the “Il Telaio” Literary Prize is one of the most distinctive cultural events in the Vibo Valentia area. The 2026 edition will take place on Saturday, March 15, at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Rombiolo. This event renews a tradition that combines memory, tradition, and contemporary reflection.
The award aims to promote the community's deep connection to the centuries-old art of weaving, which has shaped local history and become a metaphor for "weaving" relationships, ideas, and narratives. Over time, the award has been given to authors, scholars, and cultural figures who contribute to preserving and renewing themes of roots, identity, and collective memory through their work.
