From 23 November to 21 December 2025, Bagnara Calabra will once again host the Nougat Trains, a unique experience offering visitors the chance to discover the history and secrets of Bagnara's famous PGI Nougat, without having to worry about driving: the tour departs conveniently by train from the main towns served by the Tyrrhenian railway line.
The guided tour includes visits to nougat factories, with tastings and the opportunity to purchase products, to the artistic ceramics of the hamlet of Pellegrina and to the 'Piccolo Museo del Borgo' (Small Village Museum) in Porelli, with entertainment and tastings. In the historic centre, you can admire the churches of the ancient congregations of Carmine and Rosario, with artistic nativity scenes and works of great historical value, and taste local specialities based on fish or pizza thanks to affiliated restaurants.
The tour ends with a visit to the Presepe Artistico Meccanico (Artistic Mechanical Nativity Scene) created by the 'Rione Inglese' Volunteer Association, immersed in the Christmas atmosphere of the centre and seafront of Bagnara.
