Juliet is in the storm

An intense journey through the female condition in post-war Italy: ‘’Juliet is in the Storm‘’, written and performed by Maria Teresa Guzzo, arrives on stage at the Silvio Vuozzo Theatre in Spirito Santo (Cosenza) on Sunday 6 April 2025 at 6 pm.

A show that blends movement and words, recounting the fate of Juliet, a young woman forced into a proxy marriage in America because of economic difficulties. A profound reflection on woman and her role in history and in the present, in an intense performance where the voice turns into weeping, whispering and singing.
