Catanzaro becomes an open-air stage with the new edition of ‘’Get out! The theatre, out.‘’, scheduled from 9 to 29 May 2025. Seven multidisciplinary performances by artists from all over the world will transform the city into a creative workshop, where dance, theatre and installations dialogue with the urban space and involve the audience in immersive and site-specific experiences.

A project that goes beyond the boundaries of the traditional stage and puts the spectator at the centre, transforming him into an active part of the story, in a continuous interweaving of art and everyday life.

Opening the calendar will be ‘Dear Laila’ by Basel Zaraa, on stage from 9 to 11 May at the Gallerie del San Giovanni: an intimate journey between memory and exile, through an intense and touching family narrative. On Saturday 10 May, on the Terrazza del San Giovanni, the collective creation ‘Derniers Feux’ by choreographer Némo Flouret will stage the language of fireworks, between music and movement.

From 13 to 18 May, it will be time for Teatro dei Borgia's ‘Medea in the street’: on board an electric bus, spectators will cross the city experiencing the intense story of a migrant woman. On 17 May, the city centre will host ‘Mission Roosevelt’ by Tony Clifton Circus: a participatory performance experience in which wheelchairs become instruments of urban conquest and freedom.

From 23 to 25 May, the performance ‘Real Heroes’ by Mauro Lamanna and Aguilera Justiniano will start at the San Giovanni Complex, a journey between true stories and immersive technology with 360 audio and virtual reality. On 25 May, the former Orphanage - Palazzo Rossi will host ‘Landscape’ by Cypriot performer Elena Antoniu, which challenges the boundaries of the gaze and the body.

Grand finale from 27 to 29 May at the Marca Museum with ‘Not to scale. Fuori scala’, a self-theatre performance by the British duo Ant Hampton and Tim Etchells, between drawing, listening and collective play.
