Exit Festival - Deviations in Art and Music

Three days of jazz, theatre and myths reinterpreted in a contemporary key open the ninth edition of Exit - Deviations in Art and Music, the festival conceived by Piano B, now recognised as one of the most original and rooted cultural projects in Calabria.

Since 2017 Exit has been pursuing a clear vision: to connect community and landscape through art, offering cultural experiences that speak to the territory but always with an eye on the national scene.

The programme opens on Wednesday 25 June at 21:15 with Naples Jazz, the musical project of Walter Ricci, an eclectic voice on the Italian jazz scene. On stage, an energetic fusion of Neapolitan melody, American standards, and contemporary sounds. A special concert, the proceeds of which will be donated to the Cosenza-based association "Soul - I will take care of you", which provides psychological support to people in the process of grieving.

On Thursday 26 June, space will be given to figure theatre, with a day designed for young and old:

• at 16:00 Puppet Factory, a creative workshop led by Angelo Gallo and the Compagnia Teatro della Libellula;
• at 18:30 Pinocchio in Wonderland, a show that transports the famous puppet to an imaginative Calabria, amidst new characters and suggestions of the territory.

On Friday 27 June at 9.15 pm, actor Enrico Lo Verso will be the protagonist, with Alessia D'Anna, of the show Mythical Couples, directed by Alessandra Pizzi. An emotional reflection on myth and love, between the past and the present, through immortal stories such as those of Orpheus and Eurydice, Ulysses and Penelope, Psyche and Love.

These are only the first appointments of Exit 2025. The festival will continue in the following months, crossing new places in Calabria, always under the banner of artistic experimentation, shared beauty, and the enhancement of human and cultural heritage.
