On the occasion of European Heritage Days 2025, the Sibaritide Archaeological Museum and Park is opening its doors to a rich programme that combines contemporary art and testimonies of the past.
On Saturday 27 September, at 11:00 a.m., visitors will be able to take part in a guided tour of Claudio Abate's photographic exhibition 'Copia-Copiae', accompanied by curator Simone Zacchini, to discover an original and contemporary perspective on the legacy of the classical world. At 6:00 pm, the new section "Saved Archaeology: The Antefix on the Hot Roof" will be inaugurated, a journey that tells stories of the recovery and protection of archaeological heritage.
For the occasion, there will be a special opening until 10 p.m. (continuous hours 9:30 a.m.–10 p.m.) and a symbolic entrance fee of €1 to the Museum and Park starting at 6 p.m.
