Discovering Mount Botte Donato

At the foot of Mount Botte Donato, the highest peak in the Sila mountains, there is a picturesque route that invites you to discover the authentic landscapes of the Calabrian plateau. The excursion starts from the Lorica cable car station and leads along dirt roads and paths through the woods to Marinella di Coppo, before returning to the starting point to complete the loop.

The route is approximately 4.5 km long, suitable for everyone and characterised by gentle climbs and panoramic stretches offering unique views of the Sila mountains. Among fir trees, pines and quiet clearings, the experience offers two and a half hours of pure contact with nature, far from noise and close to the essence of the mountains.
