Dumas' myth becomes a musical: the national premiere of the Pop Opera at the Politeama Theatre

On 30 October 2025, at 9 p.m., the Politeama Theatre in Catanzaro will host the national premiere of "The Three Musketeers – Pop Opera", a grand musical that combines music, prose and dance in an epic and timeless tale.
Directed and artistically directed by Giuliano Peparini, the show stars Giò Di Tonno, Vittorio Matteucci and Graziano Galatone in the roles of Athos, Porthos and Aramis. The original music is by Giò Di Tonno, with lyrics by Alessandro Di Zio, while the choreography is by Veronica Peparini and Andreas Muller.
At the heart of the show is Dumas' famous motto, 'All for one, one for all!', which becomes the leitmotif of a story of friendship, courage and loyalty. Alongside the bond between the protagonists, great universal themes emerge: the thirst for power, rivalries, love and generational conflicts, in a plot that goes beyond the original narrative to become a modern and engaging fresco.
An event that promises strong emotions and spectacle, thanks also to the work of master swordsman Renzo Musumeci Greco and the evocative lighting and set design by Marco Palmieri.
