Autumn Festival | Peter and the Wolf

On 31 October 2025, at the Marca Museum in Catanzaro, the new production by Balletto del Sud will make its national debut: Peter and the Wolf, choreographed by Fredy Franzutti, in a special matinee dedicated to schools.

Sergei Prokofiev's work, which has always been recognised for its educational value, is reinterpreted in a choreographic key while retaining its ability to fascinate and teach. Each character comes to life not only through the music and the different instruments associated with it, but also thanks to a psychoanalytical interpretation, which transforms them into universal and easily recognisable archetypes.

Through dance, the show demonstrates how music is a universal language, capable of telling stories, delineating characters and stimulating the imagination. It is an opportunity to introduce young people to art, combining the beauty of music and choreography with a deeper reflection on the psychological and emotional dynamics that accompany growth.
