On 27 September 2025, at 9 p.m., the Teatro Comunale in Soverato will pay tribute to Erik Satie, one hundred years after his death, with the show 'Modigliani, Satie and the Bohème of Paris', as part of the Armonie d'Arte Festival.
Based on Modì by Maria Primerano, the show features the voice of Lorenzo Praticò and the piano of Maria Primerano, in a blend of music, words and images that evoke the intense and poignant life of Amedeo Modigliani.
The delicacy and irony of Satie's music combine with the poetry of the text and the power of the images, transporting the audience to early 20th-century Paris: that of the Eiffel Tower, the Moulin Rouge and the Chat Noir. A journey through overwhelming passions, dizzying falls, romantic nuances and profound loneliness, which restores the greatness and fragility of two timeless geniuses.
