On 30 August 2025, at 10 p.m., the Scolacium National Archaeological Park in Borgia will host 'Islands', an extraordinary show by Carolyn Carlson, one of the most iconic and visionary figures in international contemporary dance.
With four creations that encapsulate the essence of her poetics, Islands is a work that intertwines intensity, spirituality and beauty, capable of thrilling dancers and audiences alike. The choreography recounts Carolyn Carlson's artistic journey, her arrivals and transits along paths that have also found inspiration in the Mediterranean lands. A unique event to experience the art of dance in an exceptional setting, where the timeless charm of the archaeological area meets the evocative power of one of the greatest protagonists on the world stage.
The show is part of the Armonie d'Arte Festival programme.
