Among Krivit's Stars

On 10 August 2025, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the Calabrian summer returns: the second edition of the Night Excursion on the Krivit Trail, an experience that combines nature, taste and wonder in an unforgettable evening.

The meeting point is set for 6:00 p.m. at the bocce court in Eianina, a hamlet of Frascineto (CS), the starting point for a sunset hike along the picturesque Krivit Trail, which winds through mountain views and rejuvenating silence. The hike will climb to 950 metres above sea level to the Fonte della Giumenta refuge, following an accessible and panoramic circular route with an elevation gain of approximately 450 metres.

Once at the summit, hikers will be welcomed with a dinner under the stars prepared on the spot: local cold cuts and cheeses, a rustic hot first course cooked in a field kitchen and Calabrian wines to make the atmosphere even more special.

After dinner, the sky will open up in all its beauty: in the silence of the hills, one of the most evocative stargazing spots in the area will offer an authentic connection with the universe. Bring a blanket to lie down and enjoy the show. The return is scheduled for night-time, with arrival around 00:30.

Useful tips: hiking boots, head torch, walking sticks, sweatshirt, water and appropriate clothing are recommended.
