Amerigo Vespucci World Tour

After having ploughed the oceans in an international tour that took it to the five continents, the Amerigo Vespucci training ship will stop in Reggio Calabria from 3 to 6 May 2025. An extraordinary event that will allow citizens and visitors to admire the three-masted sailing ship that has represented the excellence of the Italian Navy since 1931.

For five days it will be possible to go on board and be fascinated by the beauty of this legendary ship, symbol of seafaring tradition and timeless elegance. The visit is free of charge, but accessible only by reservation.

On board, the crew will welcome visitors, recounting the history, secrets and rigour of seafaring training that has shaped generations of officers for almost a century. From the historical rooms to the majestic sails, every corner of the Vespucci is a journey into the great tradition of Italian navigation.
