Almatanz Company - The Nutcracker

On 30 December 2025, at the Grandinetti Theatre in Lamezia Terme, the Almatanz Company will stage The Nutcracker, a ballet in two acts based on the story by E.T.A. Hoffmann.

The show recounts the dreamlike and metaphorical journey of a little girl who, through her dreams, grows up and becomes a teenager. The performance combines dance, theatre and music in a harmony of movement, words and sound, transforming the dancers' bodies into an expressive space where form and content merge.

With a company composed of Italian and foreign artists, the staging focuses on attention to detail, precision of movement and the ability of each performer to transform their body into a narrative tool. The Nutcracker is thus a unique visual and sensory experience, capable of thrilling young and old alike, celebrating the magic of dreams and the timeless charm of this Christmas classic.
